Our Faith Statement

What We Believe

Across this earthly realm, faithful followers of Yeshua are awakening — seeking to worship Yah in spirit and in truth. Central to this pursuit is honoring the Father’s appointed times through His established calendar. At Gospel Worth Dying For, we are here to walk that path alongside you, and prayerfully hope to play a vital role.

We are a devoted community of believers in Yahuah and His Son, Yeshua, striving to walk in obedience to His commandments. We honor and cherish His Torah, treasure His appointed times, and keep His calendar, finding joy in the bonds we share with our brothers and sisters in the faith. Our aim is to grow into true disciples —living out Yeshua’s teachings with love, integrity, and purpose. As we journey this narrow path, we pray for continued growth in His Word, casting off the traditions and doctrines of men for the truth that sets us free.

We believe the Torah provides vital instruction for righteous living and serves as our roadmap as we follow Yeshua—whose teachings come directly from His Father, Yahuah. When we speak of the Torah, we embrace the whole of Scripture, from beginning to end, as one unified voice of truth.

Our aim is to reflect the love of Messiah in every interaction — supporting fellow believers and those seeking Truth, all while pursuing the will of the Father. We rely on the Ruach as our teacher and guide, trusting the Comforter to deepen our understanding of Scripture and lead us into wisdom. In that spirit, we seek to share thoughtful, well-researched insights and foster a space where diverse perspectives are welcomed and conversations remain uplifting and edifying.

At GWDF, we pray this forum becomes a place of blessing for all who visit. May each voice contribute with grace, building one another up in wisdom and truth. Together, we seek to grow in faith, anchored in love and guided by the light of Yahuah’s Word.

Living Out Our Convictions in Community

  1. We believe in the Eloah (God) of Abraham, Isaac, and Yacob – the One True Elohim.
  2. We believe that Yahuah (YHWH) sent His son Yeshua (Jesus) into the world as Redeemer.
  3. We believe that Yeshua is now serving as Melchizedek High Priest in Heaven.
  4. We believe that Yeshua is the door to salvation and the only way back to Eloah.
  5. We contend that believers in Messiah obey Yah’s commandments because they are saved, NOT as a means of salvation.
  6. We contend that Yeshua did not present a NEW set of commandments, but lived out the Father’s commandments.
  7. We believe that all ‘born-again’ believers in Messiah are grafted into Israel and heirs to the promise.
  8. We believe the Feasts and Festivals (Leviticus 23) are appointed times to gather and worship with fellow believers.
  9. We acknowledge and honor the seventh day weekly Sabbath as a sign of the Covenant.
  10. We understand the importance of local fellowship and encourage active involvement with other believers.
  11. We believe in the unity of the Body of Messiah and call for believers to dwell in unity and serve the Kingdom together.
  12. We believe that both marriage and romantic relationships as ordained by Eloah are between one biological male and one biological female.
  13. We believe Eloah created humanity as male and female and one’s biological sex (determined in the womb) is immutable and sacred.
  14. We believe the that Ruach haKodesh is the power of Eloah to help believers live a set-apart life and is not part of a ‘trinity.’

Non-Negotiables

  1. We will not argue over the ‘correct’ pronunciation or spelling of the Most High or His Son’s name. Each person must follow their own spiritual convictions. On this website, the Almighty is sometimes referred to as God, Eloah, Yahuah, Yah, Yahweh,  or YHWH. Yeshua is sometimes referred to as Yahusha, or Jesus. We respect what each believer feels led to use.
  2. We believe the Father and Son are individuals, and not a part of a hypostatic union. This is not up for debate.
  3. While we hold opinions about the structure of the physical Creation (shape of earth) we will not engage in arguments or debates over it. We respect each person’s right to draw their own conclusions concerning the firmament/heaven(s).
  4. We believe in eating ‘biblically clean’ (Leviticus 11) and do not adhere to rabbinic ‘kosher’ standards. Additional dietary convictions are a personal matter.
  5. We refuse to argue or divide over which calendar to observe or which is the ‘true’ creation calendar, understanding that we will all be on the ‘right’ calendar post-resurrection.
